Headmaster's Weekly Address

Dear Parents

Our Year 12 of 2018 have been immersed in their subjects for next year, gaining an understanding of the Units 3/4 curriculum and receiving their ‘holiday homework’. The rest of Heyington and Waterford have tested their knowledge in formal examinations.

Staffing for 2018 is now complete and, last Friday, we welcomed many of our new colleagues to St Kevin’s as the first stage of the orientation and induction process. The enthusiasm of this group, the quality of their qualifications and range of experience, certainly impressed the senior staff as we met them again, post interviews and appointment. I look forward to introducing these talented educators to our community next year.

Today, the Combined Mothers’ celebrated Eucharist in the Chapel of St Kevin, prior to lunch in Boyd Egan Hall at Glendalough. The sense of community our parent organisation help to develop at SKC is so greatly appreciated and I believe one of the key reasons for the positive and supportive culture of our school.
